The restaurant – Taste and tradition

The highlight of our menu is the authentic Fritto Misto alla Piemontese, freshly prepared by Chef Marco and fried on the spot according to the strictest tradition. An iconic and harmonious dish, where sweet and savory ingredients alternate in a perfect balance of flavors and textures: seasonal vegetables, fruit, semolina, amaretto, brains, filone, steak, mushrooms, lamb ribs, and sausage, all enhanced by a light, crisp golden finish.

Our fresh pasta is entirely homemade: hand-closed agnolotti, velvety egg tagliatelle, and gnocchi made with local valley potatoes, telling the story of the region with simple authenticity.

Among the main courses, game dishes stand out, such as slow-cooked wild boar served with traditional “pignulet” polenta, a genuine expression of Alpine cuisine.

We also pay great attention to vegetarian cuisine, with seasonal dishes highlighting local vegetables, herbs, and products, prepared creatively and with respect for the ingredients.

Our cheese selection celebrates Piedmontese excellence, featuring the prestigious Castelmagno alongside refined locally produced goat cheeses.

To end on a sweet note, we offer traditional desserts: the elegant Bunet, Torta Delizia alla frutta, and the classic Pesche ripiene.

Everything exceptional

We go there as a family every holiday for the fritto misto. The best in the area. Everything is meticulously prepared. The owners are very kind.

Tripadvisor Review – May 2019

Sunday lunch

From the appetizer to the mixed fried fish, everything was excellent. We returned after a while and were as satisfied as the last time.

Tripadvisor Review – Francesco A. – September 2019

At La Pineta, you’ll find truly well-executed traditional Piedmontese cuisine, attentive, friendly, and helpful service.
Then you’ll find homemade pasta that takes you back to certain meals at Grandma’s… Top marks!

Sant’Anna Pine Forest and Freedom Trails

The woods of Sant’Anna di Roccabruna were the operational base of the 104th Garibaldi Brigade, a partisan command that fought for freedom during the Second World War.
